Soul Giant is a progressive metal band based out of Lafayette, Louisiana. They pride themselves on crafting dynamic riffs driven by technical time signatures and powerful grooves. The band's message centers on acceptance, positivity, and growth through hardship and negative experiences.

The name “Soul Giant” represents embracing adversity and evolving toward a higher connection with the Self.

Jeremy Parker (Bass/Vocals) and Justin Doan (Lead Guitar/Vocals) grew up as childhood friends in DeRidder, Louisiana and later reconnected in Lafayette. There, they met Chris Fontenot (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar) and formed the band in 2022. After an extensive drummer search, John Callais joined briefly before relocating to California in 2024. In a turning point moment, Josh Ellis (Drums) moved from Shreveport to Lafayette, completing the lineup and solidifying the band's identity.
